We sell our book ‘The Online Marketing Tornado’ for €20. We then offer an in-depth training course ‘The Tornado Masterclass’ as a one-click upsell for €97. This increases our order value from €20,- to €117,-.
Can I also upsell physical products... ?
Yep, we have a great example of that too: La Rhodé sells natural skincare products. She offers a package of 8 products for €75. After checkout, she offers her customers an additional package for €25 as a one-click upsell. 20% of her customers add this package, increasing their order value by 25%! (from €75,- to €100,-)
Fun fact: La Rhodé's one-click upsell includes her less popular products, but because customers are already in buying mode, they buy them faster. So Rhodé gets rid of old stock while her customers are happy with the offer. Win-win ;-)
